What’s in the PDF
- 19-page PDF, fully written out for six sizes
- A full stripe table giving the exact sleeve rounds for every band in every size - no counting backwards and no guessing
- The jogless colour change written out with a diagram, so nine colour changes in the round do not leave nine little steps at the underarm
- A table, per size, of the rounds where a decrease would land on a colour change, and what to do about them
- Photographs of the finished sweater plus close-ups of the stripes, the neck, the raglan line and the hem
- A raglan diagram, a full schematic and a sleeve stripe diagram
- Yarn quantities in yards and skeins, for the grey and for each of the five contrast colours separately, in every size
Questions about this pattern
Are the sleeve stripes difficult?
No — they are plain stripes worked in the round. The pattern works out the colour changes so the cuff lines up in every size.
Is the sweater knitted in pieces?
No — it is a top-down raglan worked in one piece, with no seams anywhere.
Do I need nine different yarns?
Nine small amounts of colour for the cuffs plus the main grey; exact quantities are listed for every size.
