Questions about this pattern
Do I have to sew on the button bands?
No — the 1x1 rib button bands are worked into the fronts as you go, so there is nothing to pick up or sew on at the end.
Is the lace hard?
It is lace in small, bounded bands — a gentle way to try it without committing to a lace shawl.
How is the cardigan constructed?
Top down as a raglan, with the stitch bands running unbroken from the neckband to the hem.
