Questions about this pattern
Why cotton and not acrylic?
Cotton sits flat, takes the heat of a mug and blocks crisply — acrylic does none of those well.
How many coasters from one ball?
About 10 g per coaster, so a standard 50 g ball of each colour makes a set of four with plenty spare.
Do I really have to block it?
Five minutes with water and a towel is what turns it from wavy to flat — the pattern walks you through it.
